Windy Arbor Primary School is located in Chelmsley Wood in Birmingham and falls under the local authority of Solihull. This mixed-sex primary school has 426 pupils, with a capacity of 470, aged from three up to eleven.

Project Scope

This multi-phased project included the installation of a complete new Open-Protocol Fire Alarm System which was carried out in conjunction with an end to end refurbishment and extension to the school.The system comprises a multi-loop ADV/Plus Range Fire Alarm Control panel and intelligent multi-tone Fire Alarm sounders with SelfCheck™ automatically checks the sounder operation following each activation. In the event that a sounder does not sound, this is automatically reported as a fault via the ADV/Plus Control Panel.
