North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College - Wigston Campus, previously known as South Leicestershire College, is a general college of further education, which opened in 1970.

Wigston Campus first opened its doors to learners in 2010. It is situated next to Blaby Road Park, South Wigston in Leicester.

Project Scope

Following catastrophic failure of the existing obsolete networked Fire Alarm System, Fixfire® organised same day delivery of replacement multi-loop Fire Alarm Control Panels from the ADV/Plus range. Several engineers descended on the site for minimum down-time to maintain an operational Fire Alarm System. The system comprises a total of 15 loops across a fault-tolerant network and five control panels driving in excess of 2000 devices.

On completion each device was tested and new text and zone information configured.

This significant site benefits from AlertLog™ the Fire Alarm Management Tool from Fixfire®.  AlertLog™ provides instant notifications of any fault or fire event and also prompts when the weekly Fire Alarm test is due, even suggesting which device to test! All activity is logged on an on-line portal.
