Future Care Group is a family-run established residential care home provider based in Midlands.

Stowford House Care Home is a beautiful purpose-built nursing home overlooking the Oxfordshire greenbelt, situated in the village of Shippon near the historic market town of Abingdon. This home accommodates 51 residents.

Project Scope

Fixfire® completed the turnkey Life Safety System installations for this purpose-built scheme including:

Fire Alarm System. Open-protocol system including ADV range multi- Loop control and indicating equipment with repeater panel. Category L1 design with audibility levels based on ‘assisted evacuation’.

Fire Door Hold-back devices including electromagnetic Free-swing Door Closers to all bedroom and day room doors and installation of wall mounting hold back devices to communal area corridor doors.

Nurse Call System. CareAlert 700 speech-based nurse call system with remote trigger pendants for residents. System includes Call Logging which records all system activity and can be easily accessed for reporting purposes.

Access Control Systems. CareVid™ intercom/access control to main entrance. CareDoor™ monitored access control systems to internal doors eg to stairs and CareXit™ to perimeter exit doors.

Fire Fighting Equipment including Ultimex™ appliances and associated Fire Signage.
