Central England Healthcare is a growing medium size care group established in 2003.  

The Heathers Nursing Home, as a part of Central England Healthcare, accommodates 53 residents in 43 single and 5 shared rooms (46 en suite).

Following acquisition of this care home by Central England Healthcare, Fixfire® has completed major works to upgrade the existing Life Safety Systems.

A 'special inspection' of the Fire Alarm System identified non-conformances which were corrected in order to provide compliance with BS5839 Part 1 2017 for a Category L1.

Electromagnetic free-swing door closers are installed to all bedroom doors, replacing existing acoustically actuated devices which were not suited to a higher-risk care home environment.

Two different types of wireless Nurse Call System were installed and these are replaced with a new hard-wired CareAlert600 System complete with CareAlert® DualPoint™ units at skirting level beneath each bed position to provide facility to install bed and floor mats whilst preserving the bedhead call unit for service user call leads.

An IP based CareComm™ system is installed to the main entrance door with multiple hand-set video intercom units installed in internal positions. The existing access control systems are upgraded to incorporate CareDoor® Monitoring to ensure that unauthorised release of any access control system is immediately detected.

Fixfire® provides planned and reactive maintenance for all systems and equipment.
