Client Information

Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust serves a culturally and socially diverse population of over a million spread over 172 square miles, making the Trust one of the largest mental health foundation trusts in the country.

Ardenleigh Hospital is run by Birmingham & Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust and provides mental health care to disturbed teenagers.

Project Scope

Fixfire® supplied and installed an ‘open-protocol’ multi-loop ADVPLUS range analogue addressable Fire Alarm System to this lower-dependency Mental Health unit.

The system is interfaced with separate Carbon-Monoxide detection systems which protect each boiler room. These systems are interfaced to raise an alert via the Fire Alarm System without triggering an evacuation. In order to provide remote alerts to staff, AlertLog™ was specified.

Fixfire® provides planned and reactive maintenance for all systems and equipment.
