Warwick Myton Hospice provides care and treatment to people with life limiting conditions who require specialist palliative care in the 24 bedded inpatient unit, day service and hospice at home service.
Fixfire® has cared for the Life Safety System requirements at this original Hospice site since the 80’s.
During this period, in conjunction with building refurbishment and extensions, works have included:
Fire Alarm System. The original buildings were protected with interlinked conventional Fire Alarm Systems. Fixfire® upgraded the existing systems to a multi-loop 'open protocol' analogue addressable version with ADV range control and indicating equipment. In order to provide enhanced Fire Alarm management, AlertLog™ is installed. AlertLog™ provides instant notifications and also prompts when the weekly Fire Alarm test is due and suggests which device to test! All activity is logged on an on-line portal.
Fire Door Hold-back devices. Supply and installation of electromagnetic free-swing door closers and door hold-back devices throughout the scheme.
CareAlert600 Nurse Call System with Infra-Red receivers to permit remote activation of system and handsets with facility for service users to switch on the overbed light in addition to calling for assistance.
Supply, installation and maintenance of Fire Fighting Equipment throughout the scheme.
The experienced projects team are used to working in operational healthcare environments ensuring minimum disruption and minimum down-time during system upgrades and replacement.
Fixfire® provides planned and reactive maintenance for all systems and equipment.
